Drill Rig Underground Mining
The Drill Rig is a core piece of equipment in the mining industry. It uses the Spicer® Planetary Rigid Axle 113, which is compact and high – strength, enhancing the tramming capacity. The Spicer® Powershift Transmission T14 comes with mechanical and electronic control modes. Its 3 – or 4 – speed symmetric gearing offers excellent performance in both driving directions.
The Drill Rig integrates a hydraulic motor and a gearing system to position the drilling boom accurately. The single – piece cast – iron housing is robust, and the upgraded sealing can adapt to underground mining. The TE technology enables seamless gear shifting, and the hydraulic retarder provides reliable speed control.
For power and drive, the Spicer® Driveshaft 9C Series features high quality and diverse combinations. Safety features include a brake with SAHR function. The small backlash of internal gears improves drilling accuracy. Moreover, the Drill Rig can be customized modularly to suit various mining operations.
